The Humane Society Naples is Collier County's premier no-kill pet shelter, adoption center and full-service veterinary clinic that relies on private contributions and income generated from its operations for support. There are so many ways you can help The Humane Society Naples provide comfort, care, and forever loving homes for our community's orphaned pets.
Donate Online Today! Please consider making a gift online and support our efforts at the shelter and in our community. We use private donations to support our operations and outreach efforts. You can also use this method to make a gift in honor or memory of someone or their beloved pet(s).
Perhaps it is easier for you to make a recurring donation to The Humane Society Naples. You can also arrange for that option so repeated giving can be done effortlessly.
You can also choose to restrict your gift to support our Spay/Neuter Assistance Fund or our Emergency Pet Care Fund. No gifts toward these restricted funds will be used for operating support of our other shelter activities.
New/Renovated Shelter Campaign We recently celebrated the formal groundbreaking for our shelter renovation much to the delight of two and four-legged guests that gathered to witness a historic milestone in the shelter's 47-year history. The grounds (and pets) were blessed and several of our staff, volunteers, donors & members of Kraft Construction "dug in" as pets and people milled around to celebrate the day.
Official construction will begin as soon as all required permits are approved. The project is expected to be completed in nine months after it begins. Volunteer You can volunteer. Volunteers are always needed to work with the animals, provide foster care, assist with administrative and business activites, to help with our fundraising events and more. Volunteers at our shelter must be at least 17 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Call 239.643.1555 Ext. 35 for more information or download this Volunteer Application.
Fundraising/Friendraising Events Attend our special fundraising events. These are a really fun way to get involved with The Humane Society Naples. You'll meet great people, wonderful pets, and find out more about what all goes on at and in our shelter. Many individals and companies additionally decide to sponsor fundraising events as well to show our community that they are pet advocates and proud of it. Full-Service Vet Clinic You can bring your pets to our full-service veterinary clinic for expert veterinary services. Not only will your pet receive the finest of veterinary care, but you will also be helping our orphaned pets as clinic revenues support shelter operations. Planning for Pets The Humane Society Naples is also proud to partner with your family and your professional advisors on making sure that you have properly planned for your pets in the event of your death or incapacitation. Planning for pets in your estate can be very simple via a caretaker provision, but there may also be a need to explore more sophisticated planning vehicles such as a pet trust in your family's particular situation.
As Collier County's premier no-kill pet shelter The Humane Society Naples can help ensure that if the need arises, we can guarantee that your beloved pets will be cared for and placed into a loving home through our Remaining Best Friends program. While no consideration of an estate gift is required for us to serve as emergency or contingent caretaker of your pets, we certainly wish to compete for your family's philanthropy in order for us to continue to provide this unique and life-saving program to our community.
It is important to seek professional advice when planning for your pets and your estate, and we are proud to work hand-in-hand with your attorney, financial advisor, accountant, trustees or executors to help ensure the well-being of your beloved pets. It is also important that you communicate your intent with our shelter, so that we may properly document any provisions and prepare for them accordingly. Other Giving Opportunities We welcome partnerships with companies who share our love of animals. There are many ways we highlight the generosity of our corporate donors and sponsors, including those that participate in our many fundraising events. We also seek support for adoption subsididy programs such as Adopt-a-Cat and Adopt-a-Dog Month.
